sound blaster audigy install error

I have a regular SB Audigy that worked fine on XP and now that i have Vista x32 installed it sits there installing the card for 30 minutes then says that the "installation timed out". I downloaded the Vista x32 drivers from SB's website but to no avail.
Help!?

Ok seems Vista need some fine tuning on the driver side, i tried the Beta 2 X86 and also tried to install the drivers for it, supplied from creative, first it would install the drivers, i reboot, but somehow the drivers arent installed properly, according to vista, i reboot several times, still no luck, then i try to plug in my SB audigy 2 NX , it worked fine, and suddently Vista would say my SB Audigy 1 works fine ? now i try to do the same trix in vista 64bit, but so far no luck :-( anyone lucky with installing Audigy 1 Sound card in 64bit version of vista?

As of this morning using device manager and asking it to update the driver for my audigy soundblaster live 24 for vista 32 it did correctly install the drivers. -- lee1936

Can't trust those third party installers I have a little bit of a similar issue. The sound card isn't even seen as a sound blaster family card and it's an Audigy. I think creative might need to refine the installer itself to get our problems fixed. But that's why they call it beta I suppose :)
